The District鈥檚 Strategic Priority 1 is focused on developing Inspired Learners. Goal 4 states, 鈥淭he district builds literacy, numeracy and digital literacy through innovation and a commonly held vision.鈥 Within this goal there are objectives to develop and implement a K-12 literacy and numeracy vision and framework. Initial work began during the 2019-20 school year to draft a conceptual model for the literacy and numeracy visions and frameworks. As with many initiatives, COVID slowed progress, but work has continued and during the 2021-22 school year draft vision statements and frameworks with go out for review and response from educators in the district.
